Saturday, January 2- Saturday, January 30, 2021
We start on Saturday, January 2 with a live virtual event with Patrick who will be in Angers, France in the Loire Valley.
The overall format of information in written and video content each week:
We have a goal of approximately 40 miles per week or 175 miles in a month - walking, running, yoga, cleaning your house, grocery shopping, shoveling snow - time spent doing most all sorts of activities add up to mileage. We will also supply you with an alternate pacing schedule if you want to have more gentle pace. You set your pace and keep track on your own with a fitbit or keep track as you wish, it is an honor system! Check out the map posted below so you can see where we "are" in France as we make our way to Mont St Michel in 4 weeks.
Not only will you be "walking" to Mont St Michel in a month, you will be learning about the places we are passing by on this ancient pilgrimage path. You will learn the history, culture and local foods and drink of the areas we are traveling in this Northwestern part of France. From the dreamy Loire river valley of castles and vineyards to the dramatically vast bay of Mont St Michel, we will pass through small villages and towns that have been silent witnesses to pilgrims through the ages.
1) A good pair of walking shoes/hiking boots
2) A fitbit or an alternate method to keep track of distance (remember we will supply you with a conversion table to refer to for all your other daily activities that add up to mileage!)
3) A sense of curiosity & adventure- this is our maiden virtual voyage and we are so excited to do this with you!
4) Sign up with your email and program payment of $75
Patrick will broadcast from France and discuss details about where we are on the path. Normally 9am-10am Central on Saturdays. These live events will be recorded and will be accessible for your viewing at your leisure. All content will be available to you through our My Coach app, private Facebook group and YouTube group.
After filling out the form you will get a welcome email from our coaching app that instruct you in downloading the app "My Coach". You will get a daily email for a month with lessons and information. The app will direct you to written and video content to help guide you on our virtual pilgrimage path.
Share your experience with others in the group - what are your favorite walking shoes? How are you doing with staying motivated? What activities are you doing to add up the miles?
