We look forward to sharing this special part of the world with you. This is an active tour and will involve the opportunity to walk as much or as little as you like.
Day 1 – Unforgettable Prague Old Town
We’ll meet at our hotel in beautiful Prague at 3.00 pm for the welcome meeting. We’ll discuss the tour details, logistics and all your questions. Then we will set out for an orientation walk of the Prague city centre and get acquainted over a dinner together in a nice local restaurant.
Day 2 – Thousand years old Prague castle and gothic cathedral
Today we’ll start with a hearty breakfast at our hotel and then enjoy a walking tour of the majestic Prague castle and medieval St. Vitus cathedral. After the castle we’ll stroll through the Little Quarter to the Charles bridge and then we’ll finish with a lunch together. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to wander the cobbled stone streets and soak in the atmosphere.
Day 3 – Renaissance chateau and wine region, wine tasting
After breakfast we’ll depart Prague and drive to Litomyšl, a lovely UNESCO heritage town in eastern Bohemia. We’ll explore Litomyšl old town during a walking tour and then we’ll enjoy a lunch together in a microbrewery restaurant. From Litomyšl we’ll drive to Mikulov and spend a fun evening in a cosy wine cellar „sklípek“. Let’s enjoy local wine, local music „cimbalovka“ and a lot of fun.
Day 4 – Renaissance chateau
Your morning will be free. You can sleep in or go for a morning walk around the lovely Moravian town of Mikulov. Then we will drive to Lednice UNESCO site, where we will walk around the chateau park and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. After lunch we will continue to a university city of Olomouc, which is also listed as a UNESCO heritage site. We will enjoy an orientation walk of the historical city centre. The evening will be yours to explore the picturesque streets and squares.
Day 5 – Outdoor Folklore Museum “Skanzen”
This morning we’ll depart right after breakfast and travel to a town called Rožnov pod Radhoštěm situated at the foot of the Beskydy mountain range. We will take a tour of the best outdoor Folkore museum in the Czech Republic called „Skanzen“, grab a typical lunch and then cross the boarder to Slovakia. Our destination today will be Levoča, which is a UNESCO heritage site. We’ll check in to the hotel and you’ll have the rest of the evening to yourself.
Day 6 – Wooden church altar and traditional costumes
After the hotel breakfast we will take a tour of the unique church in Levoca. After that we’ll visit Spišský hrad, the largest castle complex in Central Europe. After the castle tour we’ll reach High Tatras, the highest mountains in Slovakia. We’ll grab a lunch together and visit the most wonderful small folklore museum Zdiarsky dom, where you’ll have a chance to put on one of the traditional costumes. We’ll end our day with a delicious dinner together.
Day 7 – High Tatra mountains and waterfalls
Today after breakfast we’ll hop on a cable car and take a scenic hike to the mountain waterfalls. The cable car will take us back down to the town and you’ll have free time for lunch. Then we’ll hop on a train to Tatranska Lomnica, where we’ll enjoy a visit to a local Ski museum. We’ll wrap up the day in Demanovska dolina with a dinner together.
Day 8 – Limestone caves and hilltop UNESCO town
Slovakia is well known for it’s amazing karst areas and limestone caves. Today after the hotel breakfast we’ll take a tour of the Demanovska cave of Liberty. Our next stop will be a hilltop town of Banská Štiavnica, which is a UNESCO heritage site. We’ll have a lunch together and take a walk around the town. In the early evening we’ll arrive in Slovakia’s capital Bratislava and check into to the hotel. The evening will be yours to enjoy a nice dinner.
Day 9 - Bratislava
We’ll spend the morning on a walking tour around Bratislava’s castle, old town and main square. The afternoon is yours to enjoy a cup of coffee with a local pastry called bratislavsky rožok and relax. We will regroup in the evening to enjoy a delicious farewell dinner.
Day 10 - Au Revoir
Tour will be over after breakfast with a possible 3 days / 2 nights extension to Vienna.

Day 10 - Vienna
There are various ways to travel between Bratislava and Vienna. We’ll take the most stylish and also most relaxing option. After breakfast in Bratislava we’ll hop on a boat and go up the stream of the mighty Danube river. The boat will drop us off in downtown Vienna close to our hotel. We’ll freshen up in our wonderful centrally located hotel and go for a city walking tour. Ringstrasse, Viennesse Opera, the City Hall, Hofburg Palace, Burgtheater, Stephansdom, Am Graben and other major sites. After the city walking tour the rest of the day will be yours to wander around and admire Vienna’s imperial architecture, streets of the Altstadt and relax with the famous Sachertorte in one of Vienna’s traditional cafés.
Day 11 - Vienna
Today we’ll learn more about Vienna’s artistic history. Palace Belvedere with the famous Gustav Klimt’s paintings will be one of our destinations. The Third Man Museum visit will be optional, however highly recommended. The afternoon will be free and we’ll regroup in the early evening to enjoy our farewell dinner in one of the most typical Viennesse dining places called heurige. We’ll take you to the suburbs for an unforgettable experience.
Day 12 – Nashledanou & Auf Wiedersehen
There are no tour activies planned for today. Your guide will join your for breakfast and assist you with any post tour travel plans, ride to the airport and/or other arrangements.
