We can't easily travel right now but we can dream, learn and get our bodies in shape for hitting those European cobblestones hard next year! Most travelers don't associate Tuscany with the Mediterranean sea but we guarantee that after this walk, it will be on your travel "to do" list. Join us on our virtual path!
My friend and exceptional tour guide colleague Karin Kibby will join me from Italy and guide us in exploring the Tuscan and Ligurian coast in February. We will be visiting medieval villages, Etruscan tombs, the Carrara marble mines, the Cinque Terre and more.
What do I need to do to join?
Piombino, Populonia, Baratti, Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto, Sasseta, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, La California, Marina di Cecina, Rosignano Solvay, Rosignano Solvay, Quercinella, Montenero, Livorno, Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Massa, Carrara, Colonnata, Fosdinovo, Sarzana, Montemarcello, Tellaro, Lerici, Portovenere, Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso

The general format of information in written and video content each week:
We have a goal of approximately 30 miles per week or 135 miles in a month - walking, running, skiing, yoga, cleaning your house, grocery shopping, shoveling snow - time spent doing most all sorts of activities add up to mileage. We will also supply you with an alternate pacing schedule if you want to have more gentle pace. You set your pace and keep track on your own with a Fitbit or keep track as you wish. It is an honor system! Check out the map posted below so you can see where we "are" in Italy as we make our way along the Tuscan and Ligurian coastline in 4 weeks.
Not only will you be "walking" along the Tuscan and Ligurian coastline, we'll be learning about the culture, food, and history of this gorgeous area of Italy. While many people have heard of or visited the famous Cinque Terre we will introduce you to lesser known towns like Tellaro and Portovenere in Liguria.
1) A good pair of walking shoes/hiking boots (*if you decide take on the walking challenge- it is not required!)
2) A Fitbit or an alternate method to keep track of distance (remember we will supply you with a conversion table to refer to for all your other daily activities that add up to mileage!)
3) A sense of curiosity & adventure
4) Sign up with your email and program payment of $69
Karin hosts a recorded event and discuss details about where we are on the path. All content will be available to you through our My Coach app and on YouTube.
After filling out the form you will get a welcome email from our coaching app that instruct you in downloading the app My Coach which you can also access online (on your computer). You will get a daily during the program with lessons and information about where we are. The app will direct you to written and video content to help inspire you on your virtual pilgrimage path.
