The general format of information in written and video content each week:
The path is 40 miles per week or 175 miles in a month - this is a lot for many people. So we encourage you to pick your own adventure and know that walking, running, yoga, cleaning your house, grocery shopping - time spent doing most all sorts of activities also add up to mileage.
You set your pace and keep track on your own with a Fitbit or keep track as you wish. Check out the map posted below so you can see where you "are" in France as you make your way to Mont Saint-Michel in 4 weeks.
Not only will you be "walking" to Mont Saint- Michel in a month, you will be learning about the fascinating places we are passing by on this ancient pilgrimage path. You will learn the history, culture and local foods and drink of the areas while traveling in this Northwestern part of France. From the dreamy Loire river valley of castles and vineyards to the dramatically vast bay of Mont Saint-Michel, you will pass through small villages and towns that have been silent witnesses to pilgrims through the ages.
1) A good pair of walking shoes/hiking boots *(if you plan to "walk" the path- it isn't a requirement! For some people the tourism aspect is what interests them)
2) A Fitbit or an alternate method to keep track of distance (remember we will supply you with a conversion table to refer to for all your other daily activities that also add up to mileage)
3) A sense of curiosity and adventure
4) Sign up with your email and program payment of $69
After filling out the form you will get a welcome email from our coaching app that instruct you in downloading the app "My Coach." You will get information via the easy to use app during the program with lessons and information. The app will direct you to content and YouTube videos to help guide you on your virtual pilgrimage path.
Once a week on Saturdays there is a one-hour session with Patrick on location in France where he talks about where we are on the path. Most days during the week there are short videos or written content on the places you are walking by. All content will be available to you daily through our My Coach app.
